Compact, light, inexpensive and fast, a lot of photographers would tell you that their favourite lens is the 50mm f1 4 cannon USM Lens. It would be hard for any photographer, professional or not, to not like this lens.
image Quality
Put simply, the lens quality is nothing short of astounding. even when set at f/2 or f/2.8 the lens is incredibly sharp and even sharper in the latter. The blade aperture can create a great background/foreground blur effect.
